Reels Auto-Scroll + Speed Control is a Chrome extension that auto-scrolls and controls playback speed on short-video platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts). It also provides theme customization, ad detection, and attention management filters.

2. What Data We Store

The extension stores only your preferences using chrome.storage.sync:

• Scroll speed and mode settings
• Language preference (English / Spanish / Brainrot variants)
• Selected theme
• Toggle states (auto-scroll, ad skip, image detection)
• Attention filter values (max duration, max watch time)

This data is stored locally in your Chrome profile and synced across your signed-in Chrome browsers via Google's built-in sync mechanism. We never see or access this data.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• ❌ No tracking or analytics
• ❌ No cookies
• ❌ No external server connections
• ❌ No account data from any platform
• ❌ No usage telemetry

• storage — To save and sync your preferences locally within Chrome. That's it.

The extension runs content scripts on:

• www.tiktok.com
• www.youtube.com

It interacts only with video player elements and page DOM to detect ads, control playback speed, and trigger scroll actions. No data from these pages is collected, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

6. Third-Party Services

This extension does not use any third-party services, SDKs, analytics platforms, or external APIs. Everything runs 100% locally in your browser.

7. Children's Privacy

This extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect zero data, there is nothing to worry about.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this policy (unlikely — hard to collect less than zero data), we'll update the date above and the new version will be available at this URL.
